Scotland’s Got Talent
Pupils from St John’s performed at this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in the Ross Open Air Theatre, Princess Street Gardens, on the 25th August under the ‘Scotland’s got Talent’ banner. ‘Scotland Has Talent!’ is a month long celebration of Scottish musical talent in one of the capital’s most iconic venues. Each day up to four different performances showcased the best that Scotland has to offer – from pipe bands to celtic rock – accordion clubs to folk singers.
The kids performed pieces from last years ‘St John’s Homecoming’ variety musical and added a little bit of a preview with a scene from the upcoming ‘King of Lochee’ performance which will be held in Dundee Rep on the 9th & 10th November 2010.
